 'Classic
70'
The 'Classic 70' is the original Status 70mm chamfered system,
it is extremely versatile and can be internally glazed, externally
glazed and even mechanically jointed into raked frames. It is
available in white,golden oak or rosewood with white inside on
the woodgrains if required. It has ovolo, scotia or flat bead
options with black or white gasket or security tape.
'Encore'
'Encore' is a stunning fully ovolo suite, it is internally
glazed and has co-extruded sightline grey gasket giving it outstanding
clean lines and no gasket shrinkage. It is available in all
the same colours as the 'Classic 70'.
Locking
Both systems feature the 'Excalibur' shoot bolt which
has been used for 10 years with virtually no maintenance or security
failures and remains the best lock on the market. This has two
retractable hooks in the centre and a shoot bolt at each end
which virtually eliminates 'knocking vent' service calls. A mushroom
espag is also available when security is not such an issue.
Glass
Frames can be supplied unglazed or with sealed units at
a competitive price. Soft coat units are the preferred choice
as they are optically better than 'k' glass as they have no tint.
Georgian bar-18mm or 25mm - Leaded-diamond, square or queen anne
- Stained or beveled glass all available.
Friction hinges
The standard hinge is a virtual 90 degree hinge
which passes Fensa and building regulations on a 600mm mullion,
in relation to fire egress. The easy clean hinge also complies
but slides to the centre to facilitate cleaning. A ' french
door' window with dummy mullion is also available for smaller
openings which are subject to fire regs or for cottages to give
a clear opening. |
